Married couple Lewis and Lisa Mills established Assisi's as a high quality, comfortable, affordable and worry free alternative to kennels and catteries. Both Lewis and Lisa are qualified veterinary nurses with over 20 years of animal experience including over 10 years within the veterinary sector. Both have attained various animal related qualifications including pet nutrition councillor and Canine behaviourist awards. Both Lisa and Lewis are also trained in Canine Hydrotherapy and are both Level 2 practitioners of Reiki, able to treat both people and animals.

Animals coming to board with us at Assisi's will meet resident Pug Pansy, who holds a qualification of her own as she is a PAT ( Pets As Therapy ) dog. Pansy is always happy to help any of our new lodgers to settle in.

Lewis and Lisa have always had pets themselves and understand the stress and worry that comes from leaving your pets for any length of time, so here at Assisi's we strive to alleviate any of those worries, for both you and your pet by providing a home from home experience and keeping your animal as close to their normal routine as possible. At Assisi's we pride ourselves on giving even the most nervous of pets a well deserved holiday too.
