Home-from-Home Care
Here at Assisi's we offer your pets a holiday too, whether it's for a few hours or for an extended stay, your pet will be welcomed into a loving pet-friendly family home. We offer comfort, a secure garden to play in and most importantly our company all day and all night. Couple this with Lea Valley Park a short walk away and you have a very happy dog. We and resident Pets As Therapy dog Pansy Pug will extend a warm welcome that will make even the most nervous dog feel secure. We understand that each dog that comes to stay with us will have different needs and it is for this reason there is not a set charge per size or per breed. Your quote will be tailored to your pet. Prices start at £20 per calendar day per dog. All public holidays are subject to a surcharge of 50%. Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day will be charged at double the standard rate.
We also board small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents in cages and fish in tanks. We have or own rabbit Chumani and our own guinea pig Vinnie so we understand how worrying it is leaving them behind too. Prices for this service start at £5 per calendar day per cage
Dog Walking
Our ever popular, insured, police checked dog walking service is available in Cheshunt, Goffs Oak, Cuffley, Newgate Street Village, Bayford, Waltham Cross, Broxbourne, Hoddesdon and the surrounding areas. Our great service is also available in Stevenage and it's surrounding areas. Our dogs are travelled in our 'Doggy Bus' complete with car safety harnesses and comfortable fully lined cages.
Our dog walking service is charged at £7 per half an hour and £12 for an hour. These charges are based on one dog from a household that can be walked with other dogs on a lead. If you have more than one dog in the house or a dog that cannot be walked with other dogs then please contact us for a quote. For dogs outside of our regular hours (evenings and weekends) there will be a £3 surcharge. Prices include collecting your pet, walking them for a full half an hour or hour, a towel dry if necessary and dropping home afterwards for a well earned rest.
Day Care for dogs
We offer a daycare service that runs from 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday. You are welcome to bring and collect your dog at any time within these hours. This service is charged at £15 per dog.
We also run a daycare service at weekends from 8am until 4pm and this service is charged at £20 per dog. As with our boarding service your pet will be welcomed into the warmth and security of our home.
Cat Feeding and Visiting
Cats love their own environments so why move them if you do not have to? We can visit your cat in the comfort of his or her own home. We can feed and provide water, change the litter tray and make sure your cat feels content and happy. We will also maintain the security of your home by bringing in the post, closing and opening curtains and switching the lights on and off. Prices start at £8 per visit.
Dog Feeding/Let-out service
If you are going to be late home from work or just need an evening out we can visit your home to give your dog his or her tea and let them out into the garden for a toilet break. This service is very beneficial for those with puppies who haven't yet had their second vaccination. If they cannot be walked we can simply visit your home to feed and provide a toilet break. The cost of this service starts at £8 per visit.
Small Animal Visits
To save you the difficulty of relocating a small animal we can visit your pet in their garden or home. We can feed fish in the pond or tank, we can feed, water and clean out your rabbit and guinea pig cages and make sure rodents in cages have everything they need.
Prices start at £8 per visit.
Pet Taxi
A collection and delivery service is available if you are unable to bring to us or collect from us, your pet. We also run our Pet Taxi service to take your pet along to grooming appointments, to and from the hydrotherapist or to take your pet for veterinary appointments be them routine or emergency. Please call us for a quote. Our spacious 'Doggy Bus' can accomodate the largest and the smallest of dogs. With its safety harnesses and fully lined cages you know your pet will be safe.
